10th Anniversary of the Future Sound of London’s “Lifeforms”

10 years ago today, on 27th May 1994, the Future Sound of London released the double album “Lifeforms”, which is considered one of the most influential Ambient works of electronic music from the 90’s.

Released on the Astralwerks label, “Lifeforms” was the second album of the duo formed by Brian Douglas and Garry Cobain after the “Accelerator” debut album in 1991. It was recorded at the duo’s EarthBeat studios in Dollis Hills, North London, and it featured the collaboration of King Crimson’s guitarist Robert Fripp and Ozric Tentacles.
