15 years ago today on the 8th of October 1988, Jean Michel Jarre performed the first of two “Destination Docklands” concerts in London. The concert was set originally for the 24th of September, but several problems including audience safety, caused the event to be re-scheduled as two smaller concerts instead of one huge event. The concert was held for 80,000 people under the rain. It was later released on CD and DVD under the title “Destination Docklands”.
