20 years ago today Genesis played at London’s Drury Lane

20 years ago today, on the 15th of January 1974, British Progressive Rock band Genesis played their famous concert at Drury Lane Theatre in London.
The concert was part of a series of 4 concerts held at the theatre to present the latest album from the band “Selling England by the Pound”. Singer Peter Gabriel performed the end of the epic “Supper’s Ready” flying with the use of a “Peter Pan wire” that was installed in the theatre. During one of the performances the wire got accidentally wrapped around his arm and he got almost strangled.
