20th Anniversary of Depeche Mode - Construction Time Again

20 years ago today, on September 19th 1983, Depeche Mode released on Mute Records their third album “Construction Time Again”, which meant a key step in the sound and direction of the band and became a classic of the New Wave and Synth Pop era.
The album was recorded at the Garden studios in London, featuring Andrew Fletcher (keyboards), David Gahan (vocals), Martin Gore (guitar, keyboards), and Alan Wilder (keyboards, programming). It was produced by Depeche Mode and Daniel Miller.
“Construction Time Again” was the band’s most successful selling album to date, which went Gold in the UK and placed Depeche Mode in the top list of the most popular and influential Synth Pop bands from the 80’s.
