20th Anniversary of Klaus Schulze’s “Blackdance”

20 years ago now Klaus Schulze released “Blackdance”, which was one of the most important albums of electronic music in the 70s making Schulze a pioneer of ambient music.
“Blackdance” was recorded in May 1974 and was the first release with Metronome’s label Brain. For this album Klaus Schulze experimented with acoustic guitars, synthesizers, effects, and percussions. For the album presentation in November 1974, he was accompanied by keyboardist Michael Honig.
