25 years ago Emerson Lake and Palmer last concert

25 years ago today, on the 13th of March 1978, Emerson Lake and Palmer performed their last show of the 70’s at the Civic Centre in Providence, Rode Island.
This was the last show of the USA Tour and at the time the band was forced to stop playing with the orchestra halfway through the tour due to serious economic difficulties. After the tour, Emerson Lake and Palmer recorded the studio album “Love Beach” and finally split a year later.
After the Providence concert, Emerson Lake and Palmer wouldn’t play live together again for another 14 years, in June 1992.
