25 years ago today, on the 28th of January 1980, Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s “Relax” reached # 1 in the UK charts and stayed for 48 weeks.
“Relax” was their first hit of the British band in the charts and was the debut single from the band produced by Trevor Horn. Both the song and the video were actually banned by the BBC due to it’s sexual content.
