25th Anniversary of Devo’s “Q: Are We Not Men?”

25 years ago today, on March 17th 1979, Devo released their debut album on Warner Records “Q: Are We Not Men? We are Devo!”, which was one of the milestones of Synth Pop.
Produced by Brian Eno, the band used simple electronic and mechanical noises to show the concept of how people are becoming fake and robotic. Devo became very popular for the pseudo-futuristic costumes of their live performance which were influenced by Kraftwerk.
