25th Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”

25 years ago today, on the 30th of November 1979, Pink Floyd released
their legendary album "The Wall" which has sold more than 23 million
copies.
The music from the conceptual album became a movie in 1982 by British
director Alan Parker. In 1990 Pink Floyd's bassist Roger Waters offered
a special show in Berlin featuring "The Wall" to celebrate the fall of
Berlin's Wall with guest artists such as Cyndi Lauper, Joni Mitchel,
the Scorpions, and Van Morrison. Currently "The Wall" is becoming a
Broadway musical by Roger Waters who is writing and composing the
orchestral arrangements.
