3 Of The Essence UK Tour will features the shows of the progressive rock acts David Cross Band, Harmony in Diversity and Whimwise, which feature the celebrated guitarist Peter Banks (ex-Yes and Flash), violinist David Cross (ex-King Crimson) and guitarist (ex-the Enid and Jadis). Harmony In Diversity, the band formed last year featuring guitarist Peter Banks (ex-Yes and Flash), bassist Nick Cottam and vocalist Andrew Booker, will be touring UK during March with their fusion of progressive rock, psych, jazz and ambient music. Harmony in Diversity made their debut on June 3rd 2005 in London. The band has taken recently an improvisational approach for the time being. Peter Banks and Andrew Booker have recorded a couple of hours of guitar synth/electronic drums improvisations. It’s possible the band will be able to release an edited compilation of these recordings soon. The trio hope to have a recording available for sale at the gigs. Apat from these tour the band will also perform in the US on the 28th of April at the RoSFest, in the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, Pensilvannia. The David Cross Band includes Mick Paul (bass), Alex Hall (keyboards), Paul Clarke (guitar), Arch Stanton (vocals) and Joe Crabtree (drums). Whimwise is formed by Nick May (guitar), Gonzalo Carrera (keyboards), Alquimia (vocal effects and multi instrumental) and Ami Wilson (electric violin). Some of the shows will also feature the additional guests Bela Emerson on electric cello and Andy Thompson on flute. Tour Dates: |
