30 years ago Led Zeppelin riot in Boston Garden

30 years ago today, on the 6th of January 1975, Led Zeppelin show at Boston Garden was cancelled due to a riot.
The trouble started when about a thousand fans caused a damage to the lobby of the Boston Garden estimated in $ 30,000 by breaking chairs and doors and causing other damage to the building when they were asking for tickets to Led Zeppelin’s February 4th show to go on sale. The show was cacelled by Boston Mayor Kevin White.
A moth later the three Led Zeppelin concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden sold out in a record four hours.
