30 years ago Vangelis debut show

30 years ago today, on the 27th of May 1973, Vangelis played his debut in London.
The Greek keyboardist and composer performed solo for the first time at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall. The show, supporting progressive Rock band The Tempest, was held shortly after the release of the “Earth” album.
This was not truly his first concert since he performed an improvised piano concert in Athens at the early age of six in front of 3,000 people.
