Intuitive Music

Anekdoten is one of the most famous examples of the new Scandinavian School. This trend mixes dark and gloomy influences with an extreme energy a bit in the way of King Crimson’s “Red” or Univers Zero. The orchestration includes Mellotron and cello and allows to turn in one second from a vaporous atmosphere to the paroxysm of frenzy. This double-CD "Live In Japan" includes stuff from their former works "From Within" (99), "Gravity" (03). The eight songs on the album are sometimes sweet and acoustic, even psychedelic, and sometimes atmospheric ala Radiohead. Along with king Mellotron, you can now find the Farfisa organ, sounding very much like late 60’s tunes.
