Damon Shulman is part of a long musical tradition since his father and uncles were the founding members of progressive rock pioneers Gentle Giant.

Damon started playing in bands at a very early age and formed the punk band Chaos in the 80’s along with his older brother Calvin. During the forthcoming years he formed the bands Working Stiffs and Different Trains and in 2003 Damon released the album ‘In Pieces’, which included performances from his father Phil Shulman and IQ’s John Jowitt and Paul Cook, and was mastered by his uncle Ray Shulman.

"A Brief Moment of Panic" features all instruments and lead vocals performed by Damon Shulman and was mastered by Ray Shulman. The album was recorded at the artist’s studio and it mixes different sounds, including jazz, progressive, funk and punk.
