June 3rd, 2004DJ Spooky presents an all new show at the Paula Cooper Gallery which he describes as, “all about interrogating history – version to version, it’s like “visual dub” – I take elements of the old D.W. Griffith’s film and remix it along dj style lines.
GrandMaster Flash meets John Cage, remixed with Deleuze and a dash of Rumi and Saul Williams, Bill T. Jones choreography with soundtrack by Mariko Mori remixed with hip-hop. Definitely not your everyday American artworld situation.”
The exhibit will be on show until June 25th from 11am to 6pm.
