EBM – Definition

April 13th, 2002

EBM stands for Electronic Body Music, a genre born during the mid 80’s from the fusion of electro and industrial styles. EBM was originated by the work of the Belgian band Front 242, whom used the term for the very first time in the release of their first 12″ release “Endless Riddance” in 1983.

Wow. People like you drive me crazy. “EBM” is a pretty vast category. How can you possibly generalize like that? I’m sorry you don’t like Suicide Commando. Contrary to your belief, however, they are but one band. I’m curious, what kind of music do *you* listen to? Are you telling me you don’t like any kind of music that the artist has covered, sampled, or straight up stolen?

I don’t normally take the time to insult people but jesus, you’re stupid.
