Electro-Pop - Definition
April 13th, 2002 by Koldo BarrosoElectro-pop is the pop version of electro: a mix of vintage synth pop and electro, inspired by artists such as Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambaataa, and Gary Numan.
In the mid 90’s, electro was recovered by artists such as Anthony Rother, DJ Assault, Artificial Material, Dopplereffekt, and Will Web.
The development of electro pop and its fusion with other genres in the early 00’s gave birth to electroclash.
