Born in Augsburg in 1975, DJ and producer Florian Hecker is one of the most important glitch artists to release subliminal and inventive computer music in Vienna.

Hecker was one of the pioneer artists from the late 90’s in the use of digital software such as Max/MSP and investigation of the surround composition.

Florian Hecker has often played live with artists such as Christian Fennesz and has also a collaboration project with Oswald Berthold of Farmersmanual called CD Slopper.

Other artists such as Russell Haswell, Shunichiro Okada, Peter Rehberg, Marcus Schmickler, and Yasunao Tone.
