Keith Emerson is touring Europe during the fall with his gigantic modular system. Emerson, especially known as the founding member of legendary progressive rock bands the Nice and Emerson Lake and Palmer, is one of the most important keyboardists in the history of rock music and a true pioneer in the use of synthesizers.

Keith Emerson formed in 1967 he formed one of the earliest progressive rock bands in the UK, the trio the Nice. In 1970 he founded one of the most legendary trio Emerson Lake and Palmer, which combined rock with different styles, such as classical music, avant-garde, jazz, funky tonk, blues, country and rhythm and blues. During the 70’s Emerson gained the fame of being one of the best keyboard players in the world for his unique technique and was voted the best keyboardist in the magazine polls during years along with Rick Wakeman. His shows became infamous after his extravagant performances -influenced by Jimi Hendrix- by stabbing the organ, smashing the keyboard, steping on it or bouncing it, playing the piano backwards and burning fireworks.

In 1971, Keith Emerson committed the late Robert Moog to build his legendary modular system, which became the most acomplished ever built by the technician who became part of the technical crew at ELP’s tours for a while, and went through a process of constant improvements during more than 20 years.
