A retrospective on the solo career of Natacha Atlas – a musical pioneer combining Middle Eastern music, and western mainstream pop music. Natacha first joined Transglobal Underground in 1991, as lead singer and belly-dancer. The Best of Natacha Atlas contains tracks from all these albums, along with nine new mixes and edits: some with new vocals, some reworkings very unlike the originals, and one song not on any of the existing CDs.
