Quodia European tour

Quodia is touring Europe to present their multimedia proyect for the very first time with their “Arrow” show.
Quodia is a performing group formed by bass player Trey Gunn and performer musician Joe Mendelson in 2000 that brings multi-dimensional works to the modern performance space.
Quodia combines the media of video projection, storytelling and music creating an unique level of participation. Quodia uses unorthodox instrumentation and a fully immersive quadraphonic audio system and the musical language is created especially for interacting with visuals.
Trey Gunn is mainly known for being a member of the reputed progressive band King Crimson and he has also worked with a diverse number of artists such as Sunday All Over The World, Toni Childs, The Robert Fripp String Quintet, David Sylvian, John Paul Johnes, Vernon Reid, Michael Brook, Eric Johnson, and David Hykes. Gunn has gained a reputation for being one of the best stick and touch guitar players in the world, and he runs a collective music label based in Seattle called First World (FWD) and a multi-media production company (7 Directions).
Joe Mendelson is a multi-instrumentist who formed in 1986 the experimental quartet Fibre becoming a staple of the thriving performance art scene and playing at such legendary venues as PS 122, the Knitting Factory, A Micah Bunker, and Space 2B.
In 1992 Mendelson founded avante-pop band Rise Robots Rise using 6 different singers in one song to play a different role. In 1997 he became one of the founders of the legendary music venue, The Living Room. During this time period he also established Antenna Productions, a post-production studio for independent films, documentaries, television and countless musical recordings.
