Scorch Trio New Release

The Scorch Trio, which consists of guitarist Raoul Björkenheim, bassist Ingebrit Glaten, and drummer Pals-Nilssen Love from Norway. Their music contains a highly interesting mixture of Jazz, Ambient, Avant-Garde, and more. Raoul Björkenheim has worked with several legendary jazz artists including Bill Laswell, Paul Schülze, and others.
The trio now is set to release their second album “Luggumt”. According to thier label Rune Grammofon states on their website, “This follows in the same supreme fashion [as the previous album], but differs in that it is a more varied recording.
“Bookended by two lenghty tour de force workouts, we get some lovely free playing demonstrating the great interplay these musicians are capable of, beautiful and mystical soundscapes and some strange Korean court music vibes.”
