The Ex to Release New Album

The Ex, one of the most legendary bands in Dutch history is set to release their new album on November 20 entitled “Turn” on Touch and Go Records in the U.S., Vicious Cirlce in France, and Ex Records in Holland. It will be a double cd recorded by Steve Albini at the Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago. They will also accompany the release with a two day anniversary festival on the 19th and 20th of November in Amsterdam.
The Ex consists of G.W. Sok, Terrie, Andy, Rozemarie, and Katherina. The Ex started out in 1979 during the punk wave and later developed their musical style into a vast array of genres including noise, rock, jazz, improvisation, ethnic music, spanish folk songs, etc. They also managed to play in more than 1,100 concerts all over Europe, North America, and Africa and release more than 20 albums.
This will mark their 25th anniversary.
